Eat Pray Love (US movie 2010)

the link to the book here.

synopsis : Elizabeth Gilbert (Julia Roberts) had everything a modern woman is supposed to dream of having - a husband (Billy Crudup), a house, a successful career - yet like so many others, she found herself lost, confused, and searching for what she really wanted in life. Newly divorced and at a crossroads, Gilbert steps out of her comfort zone, risking everything to change her life, embarking on a journey around the world that becomes a quest for self-discovery. In her travels, she discovers the true pleasure of nourishment by eating in Italy; the power of prayer in India, and, finally and unexpectedly, the inner peace and balance of true love in Bali.click here for complete info. the link is the original source of the synopsis article,I just want to share it with the reader aside to my personal comment.

comment: well, if the book was so popular which unfortunately i haven't read it, as for the movie sorry to say i was disappointed after watching it just now.why? cause everything is somehow confusing, the only thing good in the movie is the scenery, the view, fantastic views of each country. but as for me to really comprehend the feeling and emotion of Liz, wasn't deep as it should be.some parts of it is somehow made me think as if she just simply need a vacation to refresh her mind, not searching her soul and balance. the quotations she said along the way were great, but somehow something was missing. At the very least, still good enough (for women especially) to watch this movie. Try to forgive yourself for your past mistakes, flaws, make it better and not afraid to go ahead and try something new that you will find in the future.
